The Nitty Gritty Stuff:
Where are you located? Do you do in person sessions?
The Garden is located in Newhall, California right off of Main street. And yes, we offer in person and virtual sessions! PCIT, however, is done remotely in the comfort of your own home as that is where your child is most comfortable!
What ages do you work with?
Here at the garden we work with children as young as 2 years old up to 18 years old. Please note, for our younger clients, this is typically done via PCIT with their parents.

What are your fees?
Therapy services:
Initial Intake Session: $285
Ongoing sessions: $230

Do you take insurance?
The Garden is Out-of-network with all insurances, depending on your plan you may be eligible for reimbursement. Check out the steps below to see if you’re eligible:
-
You can locate the member services phone number on the back of your insurance card.
-
Ask the rep: "Does my plan include out-of-network benefits for mental health care? Specifically, for outpatient psychotherapy at a therapists office?"
-
Ask the rep: "Do I have a deductible for out-of-network mental health services, and if so, what is the remaining amount I would have to pay before my health plan starts to reimburse me for any fees I pay out-of-pocket?"
-
Ask the rep: "What is the maximum amount my plan will reimburse for mental health service code 90834 with a LMFT?" If the rep does not provide a clear answer, ask: "What is the maximum allowed amount for mental health service code 90834 with a LMFT, and what percentage of the maximum allowed amount will my plan pay?" (This percentage of the maximum allowed amount is the amount you would receive as reimbursement.) We hope this helps!
How do I know if my child needs therapy?
Children may benefit from therapy if they are experiencing difficulties with emotions, behavior, social interactions, or academic performance. Common signs include persistent sadness, anxiety, behavioral issues, trouble making friends, or difficulty coping with changes. If you’re unsure, feel free to contact me for a consultation.
